Found source for C&E Almond Oil Cream
I was recently in a brick and mortar store in my home town and noticed several tubs of C&E almond oil cream. I know this cream has not been manufactured for quite some time, but this small shop said that the cream was relatively fresh. Interestingly, the cream was in a different tub. Rather than...

scentiments
I highly recommend scentiments.com. I have purchased 2 bottles of Creed (Himalaya and Millesime Imperial) from them and have been very pleased. They are certainly legitimate and actually have a brick and mortar store in south Florida, which is where I purchased my colognes. Additionally, they are hi...

Which rebristle to choose? Shavemac vs. Rooney
Hello, I recently received a genuine horn handle from Kimson and I am in the process of deciding what kind of knot to have mounted in it. I really want this brush to be something special, as it is a 30th birthday present to myself. I have been in contact with both Bernd at Shavemac and Lee Sabini at...

I have to agree with the above posts. I am ordering one of his handles tonight. After I receive the handle, I will ship it to Bernd at Shavemac for a rebristle. I made another post a few days ago about a higher-quality silvertip that Bernd can provide at special request (it runs $122). Although this...

Wow! That knot is impressive. I am going to have Bernd use the higher quality silvertip. I hope it looks as nice as your brush! :D When the brush is finished, I will post pictures and a review. If this badger hair is again available by special request, I am sure a lot of members will be excited. Sam

Higher quality Shavemac silvertip?
I have been emailing Bernd about having one of my brushes re-bristled. I asked him if he had access to a grade of badger hair "nicer" than his typical (advertised) silvertip. He said that he can acquire a special silvertip grade that is "extra dense" with "thicker badger hai...

That sounds very similar to an injury I received about 6 years ago. I lost about 5.5 mm of my index finger on a meat slicer, while working at a sandwich shop (like you, to pay my way through college). The amputation was at a 45 degree angle and required a little plastic surgery. The slicer also brok...

Saabaru
I am the proud owner of a Saab 9-2x, which is actually a rebadged Impreza/WRX wagon (see http://www.saab92x.com ). The 9-2x is very similar with a few cosmetic, warranty, and performance changes. If you are a Subaru fan, I am sure you know all about the Saabaru. I really enjoy the boxer engine, exce...

I have spent a fair amount of time searching for an undershirt that will fit nicely under a buttun-up dress shirt. If you are wearing an undershirt, I feel there are several important characteristics. The shirt must be long enough to tuck in without bunching up over the course of the day, the shirt ...

WTB Tube Winding Key
I am looking for a shaving tube winding key, similar to those that come with C&E cream tubes. I have as many creams as I need right now, so I would rather not buy another tube just for the key. I have seen the keys on sale on the C&E website, but I am unwilling to pay $5 shipping on a $3.50 ...

The prices you mention for these brushes seem a little low. If I use current conversion rates, the price for the Chubby 1 best is $123.70 and the super is $179.94. If I am not mistaken, The Gentleman's Shop prices are in pounds and NOT euros. I believe you made a conversion from euros to dollars. Sam

Remember, it is not by the other toiletry items. Rather, it is near the check-out lines, by the counter where they cash checks, sell postage, return merchandise, etc. There is a small area/stand with various colognes. I assume all of the stores are organized in a similar manner. It seems the cologne...

Musgo Real at Publix
I was buying groceries this afternoon at Publix and noticed they carry Musgo Real A/S!!! I am not entirely sure what parts of the country Publix is located (I am in S. Florida), but you might check it out. The aftershave is the only Musgo Real product I could find; it was located by the colognes, ne...
