Yes! I use my Chubby 3 Super with soap for traveling and the PJ18 Extra Super with creams at home. The longer bristles of the Extra seem to do a little better whipping up the cream. . . Michael,
You're a hoot!! Unfortunately, I've read, or at least started, quite a few of these already. . . .

For chronic, seriously dry skin there is nothing better than Ammonium Lactate cream which used to be available only by prescription. You can get it over the counter at your pharmacy (you have to ask). One brand name is AmLactin. Good luck.

I like the Town & Country quite a bit (thanks, Gordon. . .) I use it and Blenheim regularly. To my nose the T&C is a bit more complex and not quite as sharp as the Penhaligons -- I obviously like them both.

As far as I can remember, every shirt I've ever bought that needed collar stays came with a set (and I've bought many many in my lifetime). Most are plastic, which work just fine. http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/block provides nice brass ones with each shirt -- high quality for the price. . . .

I'm still using Trumper's soaps which don't seem to have changed much -- it's creams are gone forever. I like the Taylor's pretty well but the scents are quite assertive, which greatly limits follow up cologne choices. Life is all about compromise I guess. Gordon, I'm having the same experience as y...

. . . well as for the Chubby 3 -- a luxury I'm not willing to do without -- and it weighs perhaps an ounce more than those tiny little travel brushes -- certainly less than a cattle prod and fur-lined cap, hahaha. . .

Greetings from Frankfurt, where I'm waiting for a flight home from my latest business trip. I'm probably not the most frequent traveler on the board but I usually fly ~150K actual miles and spend ~200 days/year away from home -- my longest time on the road is two weeks at a stretch, but more usually...

Gordon, I agree -- cool barbershop. Yes, a pity about the razor and lack of info about cream, aftershave, etc. But, even though this guy is a cigar afficionado he probably shaves with a 6-blade razor (or whatever they're up to now) and splashes on the latest Ralph Lauren junk afterwards. Maybe this ...
