I have seen newer version unused and still in the box on Ebay but those haven't been the old English Lavender (only English Lavender) but maybe that isn't such a big deal. I ...

Re: Lavender

My bottle of Old English Lavender from Yardley arrived today and... it didn't smell good -- at all. As I suspected the juice has most likely turned bad, all tough I think I did spot some similarity to English Fern deep down there, under all the nastiness. But maybe it was supposed to smell li...

Re: The state of the current English Shaving soaps

I have tried Wool Fat but I think its too hard to make a stable lather with my hard water and I find the scent a little dull but I might buy another puck in the future to see if my lathering abilities have improved. I did remember that the soap had excellent post shave though, probably the best post...

The state of the current English Shaving soaps

Which of the English shaving soaps available on the market today produce decent lathers (i.e not thin and bubbly)? DR Harris for sure but I know that Penhaligon have reformulated their soaps (again) and my Sartorial shaving soap do work fine and as I understand it have Floris reformulated their shav...
