FS: Somerset Simpsons Polo 14 - NOS

I recently took ownership of a small batch of Somerset made original Simpsons brushes from 8+ years ago. I am keeping a few for my own collection and selling off a few for those looking to own one of these gems for themselves. It goes without saying that they don't make them quite like this anymore,...

With the original Simpsons, I found the Chubby 1 to have a slight edge over the Duke 3 in terms of density. Other than that, the two were very close. With the new Simpsons, I think they are even closer. There have been some issues in the past with loft height, particularly with the Duke, however the...

FS: T&H and Penhaligon's Fragrances

Time to clear some space from my bathroom and moving out a few fragrances I never wear. The Cornubia is one I got for the wife awhile back and she didn't care for it. Only sprayed maybe 5 times. All are atomizer bottles in original boxes. Mint condition. Truefitt & Hill 1805 100ml 95% full. $55....

Charles does have a tendency to change things within his system rather frequently, as he is always trying to find ways to improve it. His lingo and passion about shaving can sometimes put people off a bit, but the quality of his stuff certainly does speak for itself. I've had the pleasure of meeting...

Kent... no way. They make nice brushes, but they are nowhere near the density you are looking for. Rooney will be just as dense, if not a touch more. In the super silvertip grade, I think they are a great buy. Polo 8 Super, very good brush. The new supers however tend to be a finer gauge hair (exclu...

Mike, I'm shocked! This is unseemly! Everyone knows that serious brush freaks and collectors NEVER sell brushes! Trade brushes perhaps.....but never SELL them. When was the last time that Peter sold a brush? For shame! Regards, Gordon Yes, brush freaks never sell brushes... unless they desperately ...

I agree that the Trumper soaps really only differ in scent. As for the scent component, some do react to my face a bit differently. I have the limes, sandalwood, rose, and violet. Of the group, the violet seems to leave my face feeling the softest. The rose scent sometimes irritates the skin a bit s...

Beautiful brush... I do like the looks of the two band loft - very classy. Man, that thing is huge! The handle on the PL8 was pushing it in terms of size for me. I don't think I can handle the PL10 and can't image using a PL12! haha I've had 3 shaves so far with my PL14. After that, the 10 and 12 d...

Well, I put this monster to use this morning for the first time. Part of me wanted to keep it unused as it's such a beautiful and hard to find piece, but I had to see what it was like. Thankfully, my owning a Vulfix #40 was a good training tool for stepping up to this brush  Took about 3x more ...
