Re: FS: Cased Wilkinson Sticky Razor *Reduced Again*

I know that the world has changed and I have been away a while, but come on. A sticky is $100? What has this world come to.

The feather sounds like something in the line of razors I would like, but I cannot justify the cost. I can get almost any one of the hundreds of amazing Gillettes of the 40s or 50s for that cost. Often, you would still have $140 or more left in your wallet. Progress is not always progress. Ask those...

Synthetic Plisson

Does anyone have experience with these? U have one I got a long time ago that I have never used. I got it in a travel case for a double edge razor. I have only ever seen one other, so I thought I would see if any of you knew anything about these. The markings say Nylon "S" Rhodia. The hand...

I happen to own one of the two band manchurian style vulfix brushes (I think a 2236). I acquired it in a trade for a really old wee scott (the one the size of your pinkie). I have to dig it out. I have not used it in years. I often have considered selling it because it should go to someone that uses...

In law school and on many exams, a peppercorn is the consideration that is used as the minimum amount of consideration used to buy a contract. We now think of it as nothing, but it was obviously prized at one time. Sort of like salt.

I have about a 1/3 of an ounce of Lavender left. Used it on my wedding day... I really would love to get more. Please bring the glorious scent back. I have stacks of Rose, but no lavender.

I am well Clive. Bankruptcy appears to be slowing down, so I showed back up. Work has been insane for a long time. Married life is good. I moved to Brooklyn with my wife in March of last year, so that has been good. Unfortunately, my brother in law died a few months back after a long battle with bra...

Gordon, I agree, but at the same time, a business has a rough go of it if they have the same client base for 50 years. At some point, the trend changes, so that client bases kids don't purchase Yardley, they buy Axe or some other garbage. Then the choice must be made, scale down or seek to recapture...

She did get me a DR Harris shaving stick (lavender), but not much else was shaving related. Not really much else to speak of has changed shaving wise. I am in a pattern of the 2 pass SuperSpeed shave with a Tesco blade. I use DR Harris soap and one of three brushes (my Simpson Chubby 2 in best, a ro...

Where has all the time gone

Hi gents. Wanted to say hello as I feel like I have been away forever. Life has been really busy with work (bankruptcy is a hot area right now) and partially a mess on the family side (my wife is great though). I still shave with my no date code SuperSpeed every day, though I have fallen into soaps ...

I really like the Castle Forbes lavender. It is not Coates' lavender, but it is still really good. It was the first high end, non three-Ts non-Coates I used, and when I am out of Coates and MWF (so about 2026), I will go back for Castle Forbes.

Sit was a bit misleading. I use it, but I can only shave once per day (without irritation anyway). Gordon, we just need to figure out a humidor like equivalent for shave cream. I should file the patent now... Anyway, I have a two band T2, a two band CH2, a three band CH3, and a 3 band major. Those a...
