FT: Lamy Persona pen set (LF: Rooney or Simpson)

FT: Lamy Persona fountain Pen + ballpoint. Satin black & gold finish. FP has a 14K nib, comes with ink pump. Design by Mario Bellini. Together, these pens retailed for +300 Eur. Both are in pristine condition, barely used (too big for my smallish hands). As Lamy no longer makes the Persona line,...

Could someone please describe the scent of Mennen speed stick (classic)?
Here in Europe, Mennen products are marketed a little differently, but somehow I suspect the clasic US fragrance to be the same as our 'Mennen Green'.

Bronnley English fern bath soap. Smells about as good as the famous Trumper or Penhaligons colognes but isn't too pricey. Contains lanolin and almond oil.

Hello again Jeremy,

Munich is a great city, I enjoyed my stay there immensely!

As for shaving, I know they have some very nice stuff at Manufactum (rare AS's, soaps, razors etc.). Store is located at Theatinerstrasse/Odeonsplatz if I'm not mistaken.

Check it out at www.manufactum.com

Tadé Aleppo soap. This is the real deal, the legendary soap made in Aleppo (Syria) for tens of centuries. Basically just olive oil (65%), laurel oil (35%) and soda. Looks like a small, brown-greenish brick with stamped Arabic lettering on it. These soaps are left to dry for months in ancient cellars...

En tout cas je vous offre mes compliments les plus sincères sur votre connaissance de plusieurs langues messieurs! Vous parlez même un peu l'Anglais... Many Dutch people are more proficient in English (and often German) than French IMO. They do make a nice shaving soap (Vergulde Hand) though.

Netherlands. I’m not sure he understands French . The De Vergulde Hand is an excellent soap. Use more water, as suggested. Don’t shake your brush too much. If you'd be willing to call that French...  +2 on the water ratio. Vergulde hand is very good and can produce very rich and consis...

I don't post very often here, but I read most of what the Wise Men of Shaving have to say and I've learned many a thing from them.

Chris Moss, Gordon, Tonyespo and Dominic +1 (and wanting to add Tony Mcnutt)

Great work Gentlemen, thanks very much!
