Trumper "Warwick" DE razor stand?
Hello! I recently acquired a Trumper Warwick DE razor. Does anyone have any recommendations for stand-alone stands (sorry) for this razor? Those available from Trumper easily cost more than I paid for the razor (and there's something not right about that, somehow). Because of the rounded base of the...

Slant dream comes TRUE!!!
Hello, All. You may recall my quest to find a decent handle for my beloved Slant. Because the Slant is a 2-piece construction, it was not an option merely to unscrew the head and place it on a more aesthetically pleasing handle. I received a modified Slant from a forum member, which had been "c...

SMF III stand recommendations?
Hello! I am anticipating receipt of a SMF III brush purchased from one of our good forum members. I will be purchasing a stand, but wanted to see if anyone else has specific recommendations for this particular brush (n.b. It has a longer handle than most). Suggestions are much appreciated. Many than...

Thank you, Michael, for the links. I enjoyed your thoughts on respecting and flaunting convention. I'm reminded of an episode of All Creatures Great and Small when Sigfried is scolding his brother for purchasing a pre-tied bowtie. When the brother, Tristian, complains that he doesn't know how to tie...

valet recommendations?
Does anyone have any (non-human) valet recommendations? I'm looking for something on which to lay out my suit, shirt, etc., for the following day. Ebay seems to be awash in variations on a few basic themes, but quality remains unknown.
Any experience with particular brands, etc?
Many thanks,
brian

For what it's worth, Brooks Brothers has still frame tutorials for each of the various knots (including bowties). Probably not the best thing on the web, but worth the bookmark.

Slant dreams
I love my Slant. It's given me the best shaves of my life. While the razor outperforms any other, its aesthetics leave something to be desired. I do NOT like is the handle; why not something along the lines of the handles offered by EJ, GFT, etc. for their DE razors?--which, as I understand it, ofte...

I asked Steve about this source a few weeks ago, and he shared his experience with me. If I recall, I believe the procedure requires that you request a price list which gives their complete inventory. I know that Steve obtained MWF shaving soap from them, as well as other MWF products. He seemed to ...

MWF is also available from the following source. Refills are $15 plus shipping. They also have the nice stoneware dish combo for $55.
