Well, the easy answer is just to hurry up and wait.

Charles' products are worth the wait, but now is a bad time of the year to be expecting packages to arrive in a timely manner.

Excellent find, Peter. I am delighted to see my old razor in good company with your impressionable barberia collection. I tend to agree that the double ring standard on original Gillettes is correct insofar as the dating approximation. Peter, In your photo, there is a stamped date. What is this pape...

With your interest in WetShaving, I would have thought that

The most prominent note in 88 is the Rose Otto. In fact, if you sample some Rose Otto essential oil, the first thing that will come to mind is 88. It is very heat sensitive, so winter time wear is almost required. And yes, it is somewhat of a dressy scent. I took three times to fall in love with the...

I loved Endymion at first and of all of the Penhaligon's scents, Endymion and LP:9 seem to get the most remarks from ladies when I wear it. I've since moved on to other scents. While Endymion is not something that you will likely encounter while out and about, it still screams "contemporary&quo...

Unfortunately? I wonder what guys would think if the exact scent came from penhaligons and cost $70 Actually, the Penhaligon's Racquets Formula is a traditional chypre cologne that is similar to many of the typical "spicy" colognes. What sets Penhaligon's apart is the addition of some sce...

Why would they care if we're interested in Badgers?

PETA is the reason that I still believe in euthanasia for undesirable entities in our culture.

I tried the sample.

I just did not think that it was anything distinctive or unique enough to warrant purchasing a bottle of it.

Insofar as traditional chypre fragrances, there are many other examples of this style that are better presented in my opinion.

Penhaligon's Elizabethan Rose. It's marketed towards women, but the scent is a pure rose without the coying sweetness that we Americans tend to associate with "ladies perfume." I, too, love the creams and soaps that you listed. After using them, I will follow with either Czech & Speake...

Since Trumpers offers a 30ml bottle for around 30 dollars, this is a good way to obtain the same pine, peppery scent as the BB without spend...

Sue, Scotto has been talking about doing a hard soap sampler pack. Perhaps you could drop him a PM over at B&B and see what you guys could work out? I'd also like to see Mama Bear Sue's soaps end up being "samplized" as well. The cream, soap, aftershave and blade sample packs is a grea...
