New British Ever-ready, gillette, and razor blade hone!
Instead of posting pictures again, I have added these to the collectors corner. I found all of these this weekend at a flea market. One is a British Eveready that looks like the GEMS reffered to as "G model" which looks the same but has a G where the empty circle is on mine. http://www.sha...

HEre are some recent ones..
Haven't seen any others of these...I have seen the similar GEM no-name razor sometimes called "The G" razor (by withthegrain I think). But this is not a GEM branded one. It is a British made Everyready. It is also brand new, never opened! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/rnconync/bri...

haha... Be careful trying to get too close too soon. Irritation may not happen on the first or even second shave, but if you keep trying to get too close day after day it will happen unless you're lucky enought to have skin like leather like I do. The biggest mistake people make when they first swit...

So far from me, another vote for Feather Blades!
Well, I just got my packs of feather blades from Pauldog yesterday and gave one a spin last night! I am very pleased with my first try of them! I will have to keep using them for a while and see if the trend continues. If it does, then I will be moving from Derby's to Feathers! So far I have have go...

I've never had much luck at antique stores. While it is fun to browse at first, it soon becomes frustrating because some collector nut was there at 7am scooping up the razors. A while ago a gent contacted me saying he found a Wilkinson sticky at a yard sale in great condition (in the US), as they a...

Great Razor finding weekend!
Well, this weekend in my searching...I came upon some great finds! This weekend I was able to pick up: - 2 Schick 66 Injectors (blue bakelite handles with "cracked ice" type metal head) in brand new condition (still had blank insert where blade goes)! - 2 Schick M series adjustable razors ...

Check what I wrote in the last part of this thread and read the wiki links and make your own decision. But from what I gather, the suggestion I have heard some other people say would work just the same and is available for most locally.... And that is picking up a crystal deoderant stick...from what...

Iprobably never would have thought of an alum block if it wern't for here, but for some reason lately, it's become a topic of discussion and I just got interested in trying it out.. It's basically used as an aftershave...you can even read direction on the box from t...

Well, I decided what the heck and picked up the alum bar! I got it for $1.50 at one of the local antique shops. Here are a few pictures of it...don't know how old it is...but I decided what the heck and washed it off pretty darn good after taking it out of the sealed box. I then gave it a try after ...
