I posted this elsewhere, but I just got a product called "Against the Grain" pre-shave balm. It allows me to go against the grain, getting a better shave, and no razor burn. I just used some for the first time in over a year, and I remember why I liked it so much. You can check it out here. DiMeola ...

DiMeola "Against the Grain" Pre-shave balm
Being a newbie, I couldn't begin to do justice as to a review to this product, but I can give my experience in using it. I got a cigar ad email from DiMeola giving away 2 of their cigars for the cost of shipping as an introductory gift. I bit, and I tried this other product he was selling. It was ca...

I like to consider myself a cigar aficionado of sorts. It is one of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy the briar somewhat, as well. My first question is how much are you looking to spend on the said box of cigars? Then, based on price, how often does the recipient smoke cigars? I would go with a medi...

Hi, Charlie. I use a FreshRoast+ for my roasting needs. I keep an extra roasting chamber and chaff collector to keep down my downtime waiting for cooling between roasts. Depending upon the type bean, it takes me only about 3 1/2 to 4 minutes a batch. This is the only machine I have used. I have no o...

Thanks for the welcome. I'm glad I found this site. I've been looking at getting a better shave, tired of razor burn, especially in the summer sweat. I"m not sure I'm ready to go straight razor, yet, but I aim to tackle that eventually. Looks like a very knowledgeable site. I have found Mecca. :roll...

I roast my own beans...Kenya AA mostly. I can control the roast and I am assured of getting absolutely fresh coffee. Soemthing like 80% of the flavor is lost by the end of 2 weeks and nothing can be done to stop it. Air tight containers do not stop the flavor loss...Just my 2 cents.. Rich I"m with ...
