FS: NOS French Gillette Super Silver Platinum Plus blades
Hey Gents, For those fans of NOS/Vintage blades from the golden era of Double Edge blades, these are French Gillette Super Silver Platinum Plus (Platinumverdelt, Platine) blades, brand new in sealed dispensers. These shave wonderfully, and are (IMO) smoother than the famed 'Swedes' which were produc...

Re: Derby PREMIUM blades?
I liked these 'ok' during the shave, they're definitely sharper than Derby Extra. BUT, they left me with horrible discomfort/pinkness/irritation, even though I did not have any nicks/cuts and nothing had changed from my prep. Next shave I switched back to a different blade, and zero problems. I pers...

FS/T: Israeli Personna/Super+Platinum/Crystal DE Blades
Hey Gents, I have amassed quite a few Personna/Super+Platinum/Crystal/IP blades, more than I'll ever be able to use in my lifetime. Interested in trades for Gillette 7 o'clock (black, yellow, blue), Gillette Platinum, Astra, possibly other made-in-Russia blades, KAI, Feather, NOS sealed Gillette/Schic...

Re: FS: NOS Gillette Platinum Plus Blades (hundreds)
I honestly don't know the answer to that - I received these in a NOS blade trade with a member here, but it's been awhile and I don't remember who it was  . I've *heard* that some of these dispensers were sold whole to be used in industrial settings (like Military and Prison settings), and als...

Re: Gillette Platinum-Plus blade from Brazil
I like these, but not as much as the Russian made Gillette Platinum blades (which are quite a bit less expensive than these Brazilians), and definitely not as much as similar NOS blades (including Swedes, Plat Plus, Super Silver, etc). They seem a touch rougher, and not as long lasting. They're just...

GONE: NOS Gillette Platinum Plus Blades (hundreds)
UPDATE: NO LONGER FOR SALE ----------------------------- Hey Folks, I received a few of these large industrial dispensers of new-old-stock Gillette Platinum Plus made-in-USA blades in trade or purchase from members here over the years, and at this point I just have way too many of them. If you want ...

I've had good luck with a hair dryer and tweezers, or very thin screwdriver prying at the ends (the non-sharp edges)

FT: Bunch of NOS UK blades for your NOS US blades?
Hey Folks, I have a bunch of various NOS (mostly UK) blades that I'd like to trade straight-up for US-made Gillette Platinum Plus blades, or swedes. I have to do an exact count, but roughly I have: 2 Schick Krona Chrome Super Chromium (US) 2 Schick Krona Stainless Krona Edge (US/Holland/Canada/Swede...

Re: What do you consider the best value blade?
Prices on Polisilver? Have to go read up on Rapira but that price, Squire, I could use a blade 3, 4 times and toss it and it is just as cheap doing that as using a Feather 7 or 8 shaves. Polsilver (current production) are 0.19/blade (for 1600qty) - 0.25/blade (for 100qty), depending how many you wa...
