Vidyut Supermax blades
I bought a pack of those to try'em out b/c they were fairly cheap. Later on I heard some good things about'em but since I shave with a DE rarely and the Derby blade in my Tech just wouldn't quit, I didn't get around to trying it out until now. Verdict: ABSOLUTE JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY!!! Details: It did ...

I'd still send it out to one of the SRP honemeisters. When I bought a razor from Joe, he also honed it and it shaves as well as anything I've got (with one lone exception). Lynn has over 7000 honed blades under his belt and Josh has been getting some great reviews. I'd offer to help but I have to to...

Great review Chris. Good to have a resident mythbuster lol You may want to give the first one another try on the coarse grit hones to remove the corroded metal and then rebuild the edge. 9 times out of 10, it will work. Ofcourse, you'd have to ask the owner for permission due to the hone-wear issues...

I think your strop took too much abuse to be used effectively. The SRP has members from all over the world.. I'm from Canada, there are plenty of European members, a few in Africa, Asia and a decent representation from down under, especially NZ. Anders' book is a very entertaining and informative re...

Sorry to hear about the accident. Sometimes cagers are just plain clueless. I hope you get to go riding again early next season! Make sure the prep's extra good. The sensor should do ok for initial training until she gets comfortable enough to use a real razor. Make sure she gets to know the directi...

In the shower, I wash my face first to remove all of the oils that my skin secreted over the previous 24hrs. As I lather up my hair with the 2in1, I also rub it into the facial hair (the conditioner in it softens up the hair). I leave it on while I'm soaping up. I rinse myself and lather up with a s...

Colleen has her own business and afik has never been associated with Mama Bear other than with a statement that they both make great soaps. ...while we were on our way to do a job in Nevada... Sorry, couldn't help having this image pop into my head: Lol I wish it was something like that. We were staying in Eureka -- "The loneliest town on the loneliest highway in America." We were doing a geophysical survey on a grid that was...
