Yes it is a "call and ask" item. Charles carries both the cream and the shave stick. He may also carry the aftershave splash but I am not sure.

Will do. I chose the stick over the cream based on Charles' recommendation. Look forward to trying it out.

Speick Shave Cream vs Shave Stick

I am about to place an order with QED and was wondering what you guys recommend. What do you find to provide the more moisturizing shave? Which one smells better? Which has the better lather? Can you face lather with both? Thanks for your help guys.

Gordon,

Does the Perfume House here in Portland carry shaving related goods? I was under the impression that they only carried colognes and for some reason the search function isn't working on this site right now. Thanks for your help in advance.

I agree with Northadams. "A long way around a good shave." There are plenty of other products that provide just as good of a shave for me. The aftershave conditioner is top notch though. IMO it does take longer for the whole shave with cleanup and is not worth it.

Collin, I tried the method shaving thing for awhile and I find that it does provide a decent shave. The only problem is that so many different products get used up and at an alarming rate that it becomes ridiculously expensive. I imagine it must cost around $50-$100 every 3 months with every day use...

For what its worth, I had a similar burning sensation from using QEDs soaps. The only reason I bring this up is that other gents have mentioned this burning sensation from QEDs soaps yet others swear by them. So YMMV is the correct response. I hope that all of the negative attention classic shaving ...

I love the Nancy Boy Signature Scent bath bar. I am currently using a Santa Maria Novella bar which I also like, but I don't think it competes in terms of value to the Nancy Boy soap. The NB soap lasts much longer than any other bar soap I have ever used. I'll agree with Dr. Moss that is has one of ...

MOP orange peel grooming cream, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Styling Cream, and Bumble & Bumble Sumotech all work well for fine hair.

According to the website the guy uses it with his badger brush: "Why? "Absolutely the best and most luxurious shave cream I've used with my badger brush. Provides a truly comfortable shave!" http://www.menessentials.com/oxid.php/sid/a4740d70f6693111dcb2493da95d8833/cl/alist/cnid/08c40c38f8ec486c2.61...

Steve, I think it is perfectly ok not to like something just because everyone else does. I myself don't like English Fern. I do however like plenty of other high end fragrances from Penhaligon's, Floris, etc. I would just keep asking around for samples and find something that you like. You don't hav...

I am not a fan of the English Fern scent. I liked a couple of the other Penhaligon's scents but I really don't like the fern.

MOP makes a very nice orange peel molding cream that is like fiber. It is very similar to Bumble & Bumble's Sumotech but at about half the price.

I agree 100% with Brett. NB is definitely a quality aftershave. I used it almost exclusively during the summer months. I also have the Aqua Velva which I used maybe 2-3 times before I decided I was not a fan of the scent. Some love it. The Aqua Velva definitely did an adequate job as an aftershave, ...
