Re: Brushless
Just for kicks this week has been a brushless one. So far I've used: 1). Brave Soldier Brave Shave-Monday 2). MenScience Advanced Shave Formula-Tuesday 3). Molle-Wednesday The past 3 days have been some of the best shaves I have ever had. One nick, no irritation and a 12-14 hour smooth shave. Tomor...

There's others but I can't think of them right now.

From what I read here, and from my own experiences, the Futur appears to have a fan club who like to set it around 3 or 4 (as I do), and another group who prefer it at 1. (And yet another considerable group who like it to stay on the shelf) :) This makes me wonder: Do most of you who use adjustable...

When we're talking brushless, do we mean as in "Look, Mom, I'm not using a brush" or as in a shave cream or other product that is marketed as brushless? I used some samples of Trumpers and AOS a couple of years ago using just my hands to whip up whatever kind of lather I could. By far, the quality o...

I have heard that shaving on an empty stomach is better, but I can't remember why. I've also read that a first thing in the morning shave will not be as close because, after spending 8 hours supine, your face is a little engorged with blood when you wake up. Often not the only thing, but I digress....

Re: What you can luck into or find on the Net.
Sorry to be the pedant, but don't Google for medical information! I'm glad that you lucked into the rebate deal, but health info on the web is notoriously suspect. Start at a reputable source like Medlineplus or check with your local library to see if they offer at-home access to resources like Cli...

Tom -- I shaved with the Fusion for the first -- and last -- time on Saturday. I had the same issues that you did. It was extremely hard to maneuver the massive head around my face, and the pull was surprising. I only notice a pull like that on an M3 cartridge that should have been discarded a week ...

you shouldnt build the lather on top of the cake of soap, you merely want to load the brush with a little bit of soap and then build the lather in a seperate bowl just as you do with cream or directly on your face. check out richard's video where he builds a lather up nice and quick Thanks for the ...

Re: Black Friday ads
Are any of you crazy guys going shopping on Black Friday? If so, let me know, I'll give you my list. I'll be alseep. J I'm not, but two outlet centers in my area will be open at midnight Friday morning. It's sheer craziness, although my wife said there's something appealing about shopping in the mi...

Fusion test
I got a free Fusion in the mail the other week and finally got around to using it today. I am an M3 user now and have not used a DE (yet -- I should be getting a Merkur HD for Christmas if all goes according to plan). Anyway, the Fusion: There are, of course, five blades. But they are very small and...

How do you use soaps?
If I get a hard shaving soap, how does one go about using it? Maybe a better question is, what do you do post-shave with the bowl/mug and soap in it? Do you just leave the soap in there while you rinse it out? I was thinking about getting some Proraso last night at Target but went for the tube inste...

Just a quick update: I met with seven people with whom I would be working directly, and then they sent me to another person who isn't part of the organization but is someone with whom the organization has regular contact for its business. I decided to send thank-you letters to all eight people. Over...
