My brain is like a jellyfish in the ocean of my head;
And all I really want from life is to crawl back into bed.

Bikes anyone?

Any serious bike riders in our midst? Moving from entry level Orbea Onix to Trek Madone 6.7.

Words have amazing power. This made tears well up in my eyes. If you keep a journal I believe your heirs should have it published. Iwould love to read it.

Been headshaving for about 7 months. Love the look. Could not do it with a straight like I do my face, but only takes abot 3 minutes with my Future.

Thanks, men. I believe I still have a Mach 3 in a drawer. I also have some creme o cream which I tried once on my face. It also was very slick, but just did not do a thing for me emotionally. I'm liking the shaved head look over the thinning hair horse shoe. Just need to get the right tools for the ...

Head Shavers?

Any head shavers out there? I use straights on my face, but made a mess of it on my head. What do you use?

I have the chrome one and use it exclusively if I am in DE mode and not straight mode. I did not find it slippery. It has a slender "neck" area that makes for a secure hold. As squire says, it is an almost perfect tool for the job. It can be made to work with any blade I have tried. Get it...

D R Harris Pink aftershave is all that is needed. Ofcourse you can use a cologne or even a heavier scented aftershave following the Pink, but nothing else is actually needed.

The Derbys work great for me in my Futur set on 3. I use mostly TOBS creams, Trumper creams and soaps, Tabac and yes, occassionally, Mitchell's Wool Fat. Just an all around close comfortable shave.

I think you will find Colleen very nice to do business with. When I was active at SRP I got several of her shave soaps. Orange Patchouli was nice as was Desert Ironwood and a couple of others that I can't remember the names of right now. At that point I was using only soaps and never tried her cream...

While a Gillette Super Speed is all anyone "needs," if you want to experiment like most of us do then I would recommend the Merkur Futur. It is different in appearance from any other razor and can be as gentle or as aggressive as you like.

Perhaps I'll bring it along to Broadstreet Grocery for coffee in the morning and give it a whirl in the loo after breakfast.

I use a blade until it begins to pull, then I change it. Whether it is shave #1 or shave # 5 I' ll change mid shave when I detect a decrease in efficiency.
