WTB Goodfella Chrome
I hear that the Goodfella razor is mild, and I've been really enjoying my Merkur 11C but find it a tad bit aggressive sometimes. So if anybody has a Goodfella they'd be willing to part with or loan out let me know .

Moving Sale!
I'm moving Saturday morning; please help me lighten the load. Add $5 for shipping CONUS. I'll ship internationally at cost. PayPal only I'm afraid. My apologies, but I can't guarantee "shave ready" on any straight razors since I don't have time to hone. Merkur HD aka 34C with a hard plasti...

Update
I've been using the Merkur Open-Tooth HD 95% of the time. I like the handle. I like the way it cuts. Compared to a safety-bar HD, it's harder to clean. I have pretty hard water, and it can cause build up inside the comb. The only other downside is that it's not a butterfly mechanism. So the blade is...

I like the Wee Scott, except for it's handle. It sure is cute, but it's too small, and hard to hold onto. Since the loft is so short, it's impossible for me to keep from getting lather on the handle. I've been thinking about getting a handle made and just gluing the my Wee Scott to the front of it :...

I contacted Annie of Dovo/Merkur about a manufacturing defect in a HD, and got no satisfaction. They'll probably tell you to contact the vendor. But hey, in the worst case you're only out the time it takes to write an email. I think the loose tolerances in modern DE razors are deplorable. All dispos...

The thing that puzzles me is that I can shave every 3 days, for example, with a Feather and a Slant, or with a Futur at 3-3.5, with 4 overlapping passes + touch up, and after that I don’t have any issues, in fact I could go for more passes without a problem. But if I shave the next day with a 40’s ...
