The IPs are very nice, easy blades. I switch between them and Derby and don't notice a huge difference. Packaging on Derby is a lot better though... 1 little tiny box with 100 amazingly sharp metal thingies in it isn't the most fun in the world.

Don't shave against the grain - its just not possible for everyone to do without getting ingrowns. I think that stretching the skin can make it worse sometimes too.

I think this is one of the reason the corner guys always put what looks to be vaseline on guys when they're cut in a fight... sorta seals the wound a little.

Then again, having the punches slide off must not be a bad side-effect.

Selling off inactive razors.

Ok, I am begrudgingly selling off the “collection” portion of my “rotation”, keeping only 4 for regular use. There are a couple things that I need to buy, and SWMBO says I have to give something up. All listed prices include USPS shipping in the CONUS. Outside US/custom requests pays actual shipping...

So, my family has pretty much found out about my interest in vintage razors and shaving, and I've received 4 razors from grandparents to help the habbit. First off my grandfather sent me a Slim handle adjustable (66). And I have been shaving with it for a while (well, as part of the rotation) and I ...
