I want to say what a pleasure it was dealing with GollyMrScience (Tom). He sent me a beautiful razor and refused to take ANYTHING in trade for it.

A very nice gesture and a class act as well!

His most recent feedback is a similar experience to yours. I would absolutely take it up with e-Bay/Paypal and minimize the damage.

I've got four or five felt fedoras and a few newsboys. I mainly wear mine when it's colder out.

My pride and joy is my custom Art Fawcett 100% beaver felt fedora. \:D/

Will - Methinks the problem is "coffee dust" that is caused by (mostly) a blade grinder. If your roaster is using a pro machine for the grinding - maybe the burrs are shot(??). You need a very even (dare I say fairly coarse) grind to keep the Aeropress happy. At least that's what mine seem...

I have a question for the coffee guys here. Someone I know lives in Hawaii and he talks about taking the green beans and roasting them in a pan on the stove. It sounds Uber simple. Is this really what some guys do? All I know about coffee is this which is probably all wrong anyway, but: The bean is...

My wife actually likes the smell (but doesn't drink coffee - HATES it). She says the smell is "a mix of roasted peanuts and slightly burned popcorn."

Go figure!

Trust me - another addiction it is, indeed! (check the avatar  ) www.sweetmarias.com used to sell chicory. That is also where I get my green beans. Yup here it is: http://sweetmarias.com/coffee.other.chicory.html Intelligentsia sells the best blend w/ chicory I've ever tasted (YMMV) http://ww...

I believe that we should let the man's words speak for themselves for the time being. <Snipped for brevity> So, because you don't agree with someone based on quotes and excerpts, that makes them bad? Taking a look at this thread, a LOT of people's "words speaking for themselves" could be ...

I, too, am biting my tongue. Only because it's amazing how people's definitions of "tolerance" only seem to go one way...

I doubt very much that anyone who has commented here actually knew the man that most so evidently dislike/despise.
