Re: Mode of payment

It appears that one of the major problems in dealing with a payment methodology that isn't backed by the full faith and credit of a government or (even better) by "hard" value reserves has reared its ugly head. In today's (25 Feb 2014) news, AP reports that a major Bitcoin exchange has gon...

Re: A FEW ODDS & ENDS...

There was a "special" Eagle 3 made for members of another forum in best about 3-4 years ago (post somerset) - with that exception, I believe all other G3s were made in pure. Eagle 1 and Eagle 2 were both made in pure and best varieties.

Congratulations on five years of membership!

Although my RAD is currently totally under control, I'm excited for whoever is chosen to win this generous PIF.

Neat! Give it a good home! Do you intend to use it? Just curious, not writing a book. This is from a PM I sent to diggity, the seller, "If it weren't for the history, I'd be planning on using it tomorrow - maybe I'll wait for THE special occasion (of course, at my age, the next 'big' deal will...

If possible, it is even more impressive "in person" than it is in Nathan's pictures.

I'm delighted.

I just can't keep myself from coming back to look at this brush again and again. I agree that it is both beautiful and unique. I am SO conflicted regarding: (1) the ethics of owning ivory (but, obviously, this is pre-embargo) and (2) paying more for this than I would for two Simpson Manchurian limit...

I just completed another transaction with Sam. He is a terrific seller - he describes the product well, he packages it so it's impossible to damage in transit, and he ships it immediately.

"Obsessed"? "Persistent Collector"? Whichever label you might choose for John, you still should end up with the same conclusion: No one is forcing anyone to sell their Somersets without listing them for all to see. If someone has a Somerset that they are looking to monetize, but,...

Although I don't have a "need" for any of the great items you're offering, I thoroughly support the reason for the sale. I've been using my Cobra Classic exclusively for three years, and I'm still convinced it's the best thing since sliced bread!

WTB - SIMPSON'S POLO PL 12 OR PL 14 IN BEST

I own and enjoy a Simpson's PL-8 and a PL-10. Now, I'd like to try a larger version of these - but I don't see them available at retail. If you've got a PL-12 or PL-14 that's a dust collector, let's turn it into some holiday cash for you!
