Re: Titanic

I'm not sure what I'm seeing.

Are these reproductions of things found on the ship?

Are they reproductions of products men at the time might have had on the ship?

Thanks.

Even when I got the metal top off the holder, the blades were so stuck to each other that I used a worn blade to separate them.
That doesn't sound good. I still have some 65 blades in dispensers.

Re: SOLD: Vintage NOS Wilkinson 'Light Brigade' DE Razor Blades

I had a lot of fun separating some other English Wilkinsons stuck together with very old oil in a metal "push" dispenser. Ah, yes. I had that joy a couple times, too, with Personna 74s. I ended up tossing some into the recycling. I have a number of Personna 74 blades in dispensers. I had to pry the...

Paul, I have used clear nail polish and it worked very well (it looked fine and it stopped further chipping of the existing finish).

I prefer a shorter handle, but I'm always encouraged to see something like this on offer. Thanks for the heads-up!

How aggressive is the shave from this razor? Can you compare it to any other well known razor?

Phil, Chris is, of course, correct. Corey never joined SMF. He was a member of the comparateur assurance chien old Wetshavers forum, and was very active on it for a time. Re: Bay Rum Shaving Soap Release with 20% Off

Omar, thanks for the reply. I wasn't very clear in my statement. My problem with FO (fragrance oil) is that almost all forms of it burn my olfactory. My skin isn't sensitive to it, as far as I know (because I avoid it). Some soap producers state in their product descriptions that EO, FO, or a combin...

Re: Bay Rum Shaving Soap Release with 20% Off

I like the packaging, too! My challenge when buying any kind of shaving soap is the issue of scent. I have become very sensitive to fragrances, as result of which I look for products scented with EO (especially citrus - I'm not very fond of lavender). I see that your Lavender and Everest soaps say t...

Great review. Thanks!

I really like the Semogue 1305 boar already. I don't buy much in the way of shaving supplies anymore, but you have me tempted with this brush.
