Re: Ask and ye shall receive - RAZORS. And BLADES

Paul, I'll be interested to read your impressions of the Med Prep blades. I really like them and they are generally regarded to be a cut above other Personnas, though some believe the Lab Blues to be the same blade.

Re: Personna Twin Injector Blades

Paul, Personna made Injector blades until very recently. In fact, I haven't heard that they discontinued them, but I don't see them listed recently. These blades are the Injector II/Twinjector blades, which pair two blades close together, trying to approximate a Trac II. I don't know how effective t...

Re: Gillette No 58

Dave, I, too, think this razor looks like the nickel-plated brass version. The aluminum handles, whether shiny or not, have a different surface treatment than the nickel-plated brass ones. I have a Gillette Rocket with the thick/heavy handle from the early 1950s and it is very mild, quite close to a...

Re: Cookies

They look good, John.

My favorites are oatmeal-raisin cookies with chopped walnuts in them. (Some people put shredded coconut in their oatmeal cookies, but I don't like that at all.)

Churchilllafemme/John:

I bought a new tub of Cella shaving soap from John. The price was good and the item was shipped immediately. Communication with John was also cordial and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from John again and recommend him to others, as well.

Re: Cannibidiol CBD - what's up with this stuff?

Gary, I don't see CBD as a Trojan horse, at all. It is a case of people having isolated a potentially beneficial part of cannabis, separate from the psycho-active element. If they just wanted to get marijuana into the state, THC and all, I would see the propagation of CBD as a hindrance to that aim....

That's a good price, Paul.

(I have way more blades than I'll ever use - Personna Med Preps included - so I'll probably let this one go. )

Noxzema Shave Cream was very popular - I even used it many years ago - then they quit making it.

I wonder how close this product is to the original.

Re: Teach your children well

Hi LatinShave - I would expect a 15-year-old boy with the first signs of peach fuzz to have delicate skin, so I would avoid cartridge razors with 3-4-5 blades and I would let face-lathering wait until later. (I'm not sure how successful face-lathering that little patch over his upper lip would be, a...
