Re: **** Post Positive Member Trade Feedback Here ****

I got one of the NOS Schick Tracer razors the Paul/Pauldog is selling. The razor is new, in its original packaging, as described, and Paul shipped it promptly. Communication was good. I would recommend Paul as a seller that we can all trust.

The name of the player who had a "hat trick" for Portugal was Ronaldo.
Yes, he's pretty famous.

The game between Spain and Portugal was a good one. They played hard and tied it up.
Good news. Thanks, Gary.

Re: Razors that need refurbishing

Paul and Gary, if the razor is a 1957 or before, it is more easily disassembled, provided you have the appropriate tool to unscrew the mechanism from below. Murray, what's that tool called, and can you get it at a hardware store? I imagine it being similar to a screwdriver, but with two small rods ...

Paul and Gary, if the razor is a 1957 or before, it is more easily disassembled, provided you have the appropriate tool to unscrew the mechanism from below. From 1958, the mechanism was held in place, from below, with a clip. (It may still be possible to disassemble it, but it looks like it would be...

Paul, this is too bad, because I think it was one of the best cartridge razors ever made.

Re: Razors that need refurbishing

Hi Paul - The gold Slim Adjustable was still just called the Aristocrat. I have one with the original case and the way it is printed inside, the name of the razor is just Aristocrat and it's an adjustable razor. (On the top line of print inside the case, it says Gillette in gold. On the second line,...

Re: The new shaving brush

Welcome to SMF, may! I'm not familiar with that brush, either. I generally like a badger brush with a 22mm knot (22 - 24mm for synthetics, depending upon the gauge of the fiber), so, like Clive, that is a much bigger brush than I would care to use. We have members here who like larger brushes, howev...

Re: Another outstanding brushless shaving cream from Lush

Thanks, Gary. I can sometimes tolerate a mild fragrance, though it isn't always predictable. I don't have any problem with Valobra Shave Sticks, for example. Occasionally, I will get one that is more strongly fragranced, in which case I just unwrap it and leave it out in the garage for awhile. (This...

Re: Cutting boards

Regarding storage of a wooden cutting board, is it ok to leave the board lying on the counter or should they be stored dry so they won't be left where they might happen to be sitting in moisture? I would say the latter, Gary. The Wok Shop recommends storing their cutting blocks in the vertical posi...
