Welcome to Shave My Face full-time. And no, that's not Cary Grant in the photo. I get that all the time. It's me. :) I was just thinking if he's not talking about me, then it must be Michael. Jarmo, I share your disdain for stupid headers like that. What could be more useless than a title like &quo...

I think buying more stuff is the best approach. A bar or plastic jar of soap or cream is probably the most innocuous-appearing article we can possibly have. Around these parts, I suspect the risk of loss is probably more weather-related, than anything else. If or when the tornado does go through, t...

There would be about 15000 bristles in an average knot so it seems... I started to count them once but lost count after bristle 3,167. Besides, I other important things to do like watching some paint dry. I had the same problem, but got around it by tying a small paper tag to each hair with its own...

I received the Menthol version and reviewed it at another forum. I was very pleased with the performance although I too felt that the menthol was missing from the formula. The price is under $3.00 I believe, and it is an exceptionally good product in that range. This will be my travel cream for sure.

I agree on the Merkur blades. Other products that come to mind: Musgo AS splash. This is cyanoacrylate disguised as an aftershave. The first time I used it, I slapped it on - only to find my hands permanently welded to my face by this vile glue-like concoction. The only thing worse than its stickine...

Ron, *sigh* you're probably right :( . Sales numbers may not be down, because the demand for Tulips is probably much smaller than the demand for Chubbies. It's just disappointing that they chose the ugliest possible shape for PJs and Tulips. How much trouble would it have been, back when they were s...

I can tell you that Richard, K, and I got a T2 specially made and mine looks just like the one on the right of the above picture. The hair is not dense and this gives it perfect lathering ability with creams and soaps. It has become my favourite brush for this reason. As you can see on the left one...

The bad machining on the razor pictured above - is this rare for a Progress to be that poorly made or is this common construction for these guys?? I don't mean to insult your razor dood, but that is pretty bad. Did you drop it or is this 'factory' condition? I have not purchased a Merkur yet and st...

I'd rather be waterborne personally Hmmm, how about the Merchant Marines ? Asthma may not be an issue there. Edit: Also look into the Military Sealift Command . Their ships are manned by civilians. I spent a day on one when my ship's helo crashed in the Mediterranean, they had the equipment to get ...
