Re: Pawns stars shamelessy tries to pulloff a DE razor

This is a sure sign that DE shaving has made it big time. No wonder Gillette stopped manufacturing the best blade on the market... they knew what was coming

I wonder which one the rodent would choose if it had the choice of both. Did they ever put the drugs and Oreos head to head?

Gary - Since Simpson could make two-band whenever they wanted, what was the deal with the Simpson line between, around late 2007-2009 give or take a couple of months, when some of their brushes went from two band super to three band? After trying all sorts of pre and post shave preps early on out of necessity, I've gotten back to the basics in the past couple of years: Shower Rinse brush in hot running water Splash face with hot water Build lather Shave WTG, ATG, touch up where necessary Rinse excess lather off Apply aftershave ...

The only two razors I ever use anymore:

Merkur Futur
Merkur HD

Nothing else compares for me. However, I haven't tried any brands outside of Gillette and Merkur save for a single edge type.

For the past couple months I've been going back and forth between Arko and Irish Moos. The only difference I can tell between the two doesn't have anything to do with the shave. The Arko is a much harder soap than the Irish Moos. It'll probably last longer. I just found a Palmolive stick I'd forgott...

Thought I'd come back after having posted such a great review of Voshkods blades after only using them for a short time. It's been four months now and they're still my favorite blade. A couple of notes - 1. They have some kind of coating on them that takes about 4 strokes to get through before they ...

I have the 23mm silvertip 177 and never thought it too big (except when it wouldn't fit in the sample jar of Nancy Boy shave cream). I face lather and it's just that much more soft decadence that covers my face when lathering! It works great for me with creams - produces a lot of lather quickly. It...

There seems to be a minor flurry of activity regarding the Voskhod Russian Blades. What's up with this, if anybody knows? I'm currently distracted by the Personna Hospital Use blades, and am cautious about rave reviews of previously unknown products. I had the same reaction to the blade reviews.. m...

I have tried both the Green and Yellow Gillette 7 O'Clock blades, but they weren't as good for me as the Iridium blades. I can't compare them with the Voskhods because it's been too long. However, I do have a 6 pack of the Yellows coming so I can try them out again.

Are those blades this thread pointed to on ebay the fake Iridiums that I've been reading about on B&B? I had contacted Paul before reading this thread and he confirmed that as far as he could tell, the Iridium blades were gone. At any rate, I was really freaking out about this Iridium problem be...

Their aftershave milks are good. They have nice sample sizes that will last quite a while if you get a few of them. Then you can zero in on what you like best.
