And if they have a 10 above the crossed swords, they are in packs of 10 and "Made in Brasil", courtesy of P&G!!. We always were different down in the Southern Hemisphere!

Brazilian Wilkinsons

FYI - the Brazilian produced Wilkinsons are as close as I can discern to the last of the NOS UK Wilkinsons. Certainly better than the German Wilkinsons. Currently widely available in Australia and New Zealand from P&G, although expensive at US$7.60 for a 10 pack.

To add to the confusion as to manufacturing source. P&G Australia are now distributing , in the "Classic" format (white with gold on the insert), Wilkinson blades made in Brazil! I have been using them for some time and quite frankly now prefer them to "Swedes" - my previous ...

And of course do not forget the Brazilian Wilkinson's! P&G market the Wilkinson Classic brand in Australia and New Zealand using blades made in Brazil.
As to quality, they compare favourably with Gillette "Swedes" - I would rank then just below.

Ken, There are long and detailed threads on this subject in our archives, if you'd care to check. Basically, there are three types of Wilkinson blades kicking around North America and/or Western Europe. There are the old stock English made blades that Wilkinson offered for decades, and that are sti...

To add to the confusion! I have just purhased a 10 pkt of Wilkinson Sword Classic (White insert card) marketed here in Australia. Clearly labelled as "Blades made in Brazil" Display card is marked as distributed by Procter & Gamble. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come now P&am...
