They are nice razors. The actual Schick razor is constructed well.
I don't know why (impulse) I purchased a adjustable from NWC, what I received looked like a poorly made slant bar. It went directly to the oval file.

It is a fine razor , have confidence in yourself and the razor. As Scott pointed out over time with your own routine it will produce the results you want.
My reason for giving it up was the loss of flexibilty in my hand. Stay with it.
