How many shaves?

How many shaves is the average you get out of a blade. I switch mine out after every shave. Is this just costing me more money then it should be?

Rash of ingrowns

I've been following the regiman of applying shaving soap, then Palmolive, then shaving with my Merkur for about three months now with great results everytime. But the past week I have seen what seems like a new ingrown hair every morning or a new irritated spot each day. I don't know what to do. Any...

Loving Banana Boat

I have used all types of aftershave in my life. I have learned that almost every kind uses their containing of aloe vera as a selling point. But if you look at the ingredients you can soon learn that aloe is usually the last ingredient. But I have found Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel which is almost pure...

Disposable razors??

I have heard some people swear by disposable razors, and most turn up their noses at them.. So whats the deal with these things. If their any good those prices sure are tempting.

Vic, Well I was watching a movie on TV, I don't remember exactly what it was, but a man in the movie was shaving using some foam and a razor. Then it hit me, it was Saturday afternoon, I hadn't shaved yet, and I might as well give it a try. I did feel cheated. The shave was good, but the experience ...

I cheated today

Today I did the unthinkable. I picked up a bottle of shaving foam, and a disposable, single blade razor. I put them to use, and I have to admit... I got a great shave out of them. Have I sinned? Tomorrow I plan to go back to my wet-shaving routine.

The simple answer here is yes... I've found a touch of shaving oil, your prefered cream, and a good bit of water form the best lubricant. I never had bumps as bad as yours, but since I've switched I've been completly bump and razor burn free.

I have the exact same problem. I use Nair. I only have to do it about once every three weeks, so it works pretty good. I know, I know, I guess that makes me a sissy. But shaving doesnt get rid of the hair as Nair does.

My new car arrived yesterday. Used, of course. It's great except for a broken wheel rod end or something of that nature.

The Body Shop cream?

Does anyone use The Body Shop shave cream. I recieved it as a gift today and I need to know if it's worth using, or should keep in on the back of the shelf and stick to my Palmolive.

Tony, Then why is Mars warming and in turn it's glaciers melting? I can run with the best of them when it comes to space topics. Mars, which is farther from the Sun than we are is warming, with no carbon dioxide to create the greenhouse effect. So tell me, what is causing this odd climate change on ...

One last fact to think about. Over the last four years, the rovar on Mars has detected rising temperatures on Mars. The ice caps have been melting over the last three summers. There are no humans on Mars. No pollution. The only heat source in our solar system is the Sun. This seems to be to blame fo...

Oh well, as long as Gore is using the right lightbulbs why should he not be using 12 times the average amount of electricity?

Well with the recent exposing of Al Gore as nothing more than a hypocrite, I find no reason for anyone to have any respect for the man. He claims he does enough for the Earth to offset his 191,000 killowatt hours of electricity use. Thats the same as saying I run a mile a day, so I can smoke two pac...
