I recently purchased Perfume "The Guide " by Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez

This is an updated revision of his original French Tome

He and she get into this very subject extensively

worth the read for those interested in scent, at least peek inside at Amazon.

Lot of people on my cruise rented the mopeds. They had been and had done it before, Like I told them I can't drive on the right hand side of the road, in fact I probably shouldn't have a license

Be careful crossing the street, I always looked the wrong way for oncoming traffic

Caswell Massey number 6. You can also give him the history lesson that goes with it, the scent that George Washington used. DIfferent than Pinaud, but it gives him another profile

In fact I used 2 bottles watching * John Adams* on HBO

Leaving on a cruise for Bermuda on June 15th.

Boat docks in St.Georges. Any interesting shops, sights, restaurants I should make it a point to get to.

Thanks

Whole Foods or any other shop like it, carries Aubreys. Aubreys is an old brand that I found in a small healthfood store in Newport in the late seventies. It represents a good value since it is less expensive than the above mentioned , that are good and I have also used.

While at Union Station in DC, I wandered into the L'Occitane. I purchased some shave soap and bath soap. Enjoying both.

Welcome to one of the last acts of a civilized society. The Band I remove the band only after the heat of the cigar releases the gum that is used to attach it . One of the legends of the band , and there are several, is that bands were placed on to protect the ladies fingers when they smoked. Smoke ...

I was very impressed with L'Occitane shave soap, vegetable based.
That would be my first choice, actually I need to post elsewhere what other products I should look at.

Santa Maria Novella has shave cream in a can (kaching) as does Poraso both flavors. I've used these and they are ok, but used only when in a hurry which I no longer am anymore

She does carry Guerlain, and most likely Hermes, but I did not see it. It is a fascinating in that she has this small shop and every time I asked about something she pulled it out. I don't know your itinerary but don't forget lunch at Old Glory, if you like BBQ right across from Georgetown tobacco, ...
