Surprised I'm the first one to mention Eurythmol.
It's owned by Pfizer now funnily enough.

Bear in mind most people who own an HDTV don't have an HD feed (90% in the UK) and regular digital tv (non-high def content) will look like crap on a lot of panels. 1080p is a waste of time and money for most people. Save your money. XBox 360 and PS3 (IIRC) are both 720p, TV is either 720p or 1080i....

I believe the 66 is named for the price - Just for interest what's the price? Well like I said I am not completely sure it was the 66 but I think it was sold for 66p or something like that. I never said I couldn't be wrong about it being a 66 but I thought that was the one I had heard that was name...

IMO unless you have skin that is very sensitive there is no need for a pre-shave oil. A high-end soap or cream will make a lather that will render an oil useless. Aftershave: Yes. Remember that oily skin can often be caused by you drying the skin out too much with washing and the pores then overcomp...

Mach 3 to straight is like Robin Reliant to F1 car. Don't blame you for going back to the Mach 3. Shaving with a DE will allow you to learn some great techniques and a better understanding of things that could prove useful if you later decide to revisit straight razor shaving. Welcome to the communi...

Can't believe nobody suggested what appears to me the most obvious: Get different blades. Don't know what the brooks blades are (Personnas?) maybe try some Gillette Swedes. As for the Futur. See if you can't stick with it. People around here rush to the 'You shouldn't use a Futur as a first razor' l...

I think I am one of the few who doesn't rate Tesco blades that highly. They are better than Merkurs sure but I find the quality of them so changeable. Blade I had today, I went ATG 3 passes and it was still missing areas! I also find the Tesco blades blunt very very quickly. I can only maybe get 2 d...

Ended up using Taylor's lavender today since I used REN High-Altitude Lavender in the shower. I'll use the Monsavon tomorrow. Looking at it again, it's definitely a cream. Weird thing is, I don't remember it being any softer than it is now (unless it was dehydrated when I bought it). The smell is in...
