I agree. Col. Conk has a great smell, mediocre performance.
The only other almonds I have tried is TOBS and Volabra and out of those Volabra is my fav.

Trying Sherry is on my "to do" list. I recently tried white port and I am not a fan.

I have not tried any Australian tawny port, I'll have to ask around and try to find some.
Warre's Optima 10 year was very good.
The oldest tawny I have tried is 20 year. But I plan to buy a bottle of Taylor Fladgate 40, for my 40th birthday.
