Great photos, Wendell.

Did you stop by the ice cream shop by Nubble?

That town also has a great old fashioned candlepin bowling alley.

Joe is right...a drop of baby oil works wonders on a head shave...

...I just wish my skin could take it. I had a head full of zits, even after I tried the scrub, Joe. Still, it is a great idea...maybe olive oil...

I'd buy one and some blades. I'm more interested to see if it would be a good head shaver...multiblades give me some head bumps, but bump fighters aren't close enough. And Bics bite...

I have hair, just not a ton of it, and shave it off...

...but I wouldn't use a DE. I'm getting ready to transition from Sensor (two blade) to Bic.

I'm a head shaver, and I use a cart. If my skin wasn't bump-prone, I'd use the Hydro or a newer Gillette -- the heads will last forever.

But I am bump prone, so I use a 2-blade Sensor every few days.

SS, I'd say invest in some bump patrol gel, or something similar. Worst case scenario, 70% alcohol followed by some zit cream.

I'd say you might have the start of some bumps in that dark shadow.

I have one.

I think it has the flatest head of nearly any razor I own, much flatter than even my 70s superspeeds. As such, it is an easy, very mild shave.

So mild that in a few hours I can feel stubble again.

Hello Sensitive, I'm a white guy, but I've fought PFB for years. And it is true, if you get too close a shave, even with a DE, you can still cause your skin to flair up. Here is a product that has worked for me -- Bump Patrol liquid. Sure, it burns like fire, but it'll help control the bumps. As for...

Let it go natural.

My goatee is gray on the bottom and jet black along the mustache, and I wear it with pride. As I tell people, I've earned each and every gray hair, so I'm gonna let them show.

Greg, I picked upa few a while back, and all together might have broken $20. You just have to keep hunting... ...as for using them, I found they were too much work. No matter how much I honed and stropped, I couldn't get it sharp enough to get a really good shave out of it. I even took it off the ma...

Minus the last bit of Kav's post, Greg, I agree with him... Keep your e-mails. Stash them off into another folder, or onto a flash drive. Keep any memos. And if Livid starts going off on you, make sure other employees are around or walk to the nearest fellow employee... ...as a married male, I still...

Sadly, this might have been the LAST scientific article written on shaving, leaving the average man with little else in the way of information for the last 53 years.

I mean, think of the improvements we've enjoyed in the last 53 years...we should have more information than this.

Cool, Joe...pretty much what I do with the olive oil. Oscar, my friend, I have cousins from "the old country" -- Sicily, for us -- whose only shave lubricant is olive oil. They also use it on their hair, on their feet, and for anything else that ails them... ...heck, some even drink it. :s...

The baby oil didn't clog up the pores on your head, Joe? For me, the bulk of my experimenting has been with olive oil -- a lighter oil than baby oil. If, for some reason, I've suffered razor burn or chemical burn from some product, I'll use olive oil as a preshave for a gentler shave. Now, don't get...
