Tony, definately do what you have been recommended here. But the only place you'll find Simpson brushes on sale is at Fortnum & Mason. Trumper's have... something else these days. The other's no longer offer Simpson brushes.

Squire, so do I. Bake bread that is. An old family recipe. I also make hard bread. Don't know if you have it in the US. We call it "Knackebrod".

Squire, I use the tea balls as well. Very appropriate as I seldom brew an entire pot.

Edit: For larger and longer tea sessions I use a Samovar.
