Having tried many brushless gels and creams, King of Shaves is at the top of my list. You can't beat the price, and I always get a close comfortable shave. Great for your work kit or when you're in a hurry!!!

I've used the cream. I don't like the smell, and the shave wasn't all that great. I kept having to reapply it.

Sounds like the soap is no good either (I have an unwrapped cake sitting in my cupboard, oh well).

I agree. I've had my tube of GFT for about a month, and I have no complaints. Although this is a cologne scented cream, it is not strong (like T&H 1805). This cream is very good for summertime. I also recommend Trumper Lime and Coconut for warmer weather. **In case your wondering: GFT stands for...

Darn this forum!

I just ordered six bars of Nancy Boy soaps (one of each scent). I have no doubt they'll live up to my expectations.

Northern Ireland Shave Shops

My father is taking a trip to Northern Ireland this August/September for two weeks of golfing. He told me that he'd be happy to buy any shaving products that I could help him find. He'll be staying in these locations: Newcastle, Co. Down -- The Sleive Donard Hotel Portrush, Co. Antrim.--The Magherab...

Original poster mentioned that he liked "Cargo."

Unfotunately they stopped printing "Cargo" about a year ago. I really enjoyed the magazine, but apparently there weren't enough subscribers.

Closest thing I've found to it is "Details."

A quick question about Enchante's offerings.

Does it make a difference if you buy the Spanish Leather cologne in a plastic bottle? I noticed it's much cheaper:

$30.00 ea. 100ml/3.5 oz plastic bottle

Do you lose any quality when you go with plastic?

I have also had a good experience with AOS Lavender (in a tub)... but I must say AOS Lemon (in a tube) is one of my worst acquisitions. The smell is decent but I also have trouble getting a good meringue lather.

Maybe it's the tube?

Good post Mo...

Evan, I will also recommend using tubs for all the reasons stated above. I would also say that building lather directly on my beard seems to produce a thicker, higher-quality lather. I have found it much more difficult to create a consistent water/cream ratio while mixing in a mug or bowl. But keep ...

Although new to wetshaving I have tried all of the creams you are interested in. I must throw my support behind TRUMPERS LIME. It smells great, lathers well, and provides plenty of cushion for my shave. I know there are a lot of Taylor and Trumper doubters around here. I never had the pleasure of tr...
