Afternoon all,

I can't speak for the Chinese brush at all, but the Kent BK4 is one of my favorites. Lathers creams and soaps incredibly easy and has a very nicely sized handle. I have had no issues with mine in over 3 or 4 years. Best of luck with your, no doubt, ever growing SBAD!

Hello RD! Welcome to SMF! I would definitely agree with my esteemed posters, that you have a great starting kit. I would also hold off on the pre-shave oil for the first few weeks or so until you get your technique down, so that you can judge it's effectiveness impartially. Let us know how it goes. ...

The more you shave with a DE the better you will get at all three of these skills. What did you use as an aftershave, if anything? If you u...

Hello gents! Man how much happens when a guy takes a 6-7 month hiatus! I will throw my two cents into this Booster's praise. I have tried their Iced Lime, Mosswood, and the Polar Ice and have found them to work fantastically well. The alcohol content is definitely lower than commercial aftershaves, ...

Alright gents! The member who had dibs of this T3 has declined to buy it and so it is now a free for all! I would be willing to negotiate but will ship it anywhere for $150. There are no shedding issues and the label is not on the brush, the way I received it. Let the games begin! Warmest regards, N...

John, I feel that it is. It smells great and leaves my face feeling really nice and toned. I will run out soon and will compare my shaves with and without it. I use it after my cold water rinse just before applying aftershave.

Well, I got my GOSH Rooney Heritage brush before the Tulip 3 and it is definitely a perfect brush for me. The T3 is a little more flexible and a bit more scrubby. The model I have is two banded and it performs well, I just find myself reaching for my Rooney Heritage more often.
