Hope you don't mind some questions: Why do you use both a double edge and a streight? What can both provide that either one of them can not provide alone? In your opinion is the streight razor yeild a better shave then the double edge? I should have been more clear, I don't use them together. I use...

Welcome. Did you start with the DE and add the straight? Did you ever use a cartridge razor? Just curious.. Actually I have had poor skin for ages - sooo I believed that I could only shave with an electric for a long time. I was sick of the poor shaves, so I started with disposables 2 blades then 3...
