I recently bought a Gillette Adjustable that came with a pack of old Gillette Super Blue blades.

Does anyone have any feedback on these old blades? I haven't had good luck with most Gillette blades in the past. Are they even worth using?

Managed to get the half full tube of Noxema from my brother... shaved with it and really enjoyed it again.

I agree with you guys, Poraso (or Florena) is the next best thing.

John, Tried the Noxema skin cream (again mainly for the scent) and couldn't believe how close of a shave I got... I was quite surprised. I will definitely shave with Noxema cream from time to time. Although I admit this skin cream could never replace my choice of Trumpers Limes. Thanks for the tip.....

Poraso and C.O. Bigelow Dr. Galen's Shaving Cream are two of my favourites that I currently use.
