Re: Italian Barber Tech Clone

Hello Guys, I had my first shave today with the Italian Barber Tech Clone. I shower shave with a mirror attached to sliding glass door. I used a new Dorco 301 blade. The soap was a brand new RazoRock Emperor Shaving Cream Soap. The soap made an easy and excelent lather with my Kent BK4 brush. I abso...

Re: Masculine Scent

I agree Floris Santal is indeed very sophisticated, Masculine and the wearer exudes a smooth inner confidence to others.

Re: "UPDATE" The Standard Razor...I got one today...

The stainless steel threads on mine are in the handle. The head has the female threads. I have no problem with it. I just cannot change heads, which is ok. The razor shaves me very well, YMMV.

Re: "UPDATE" The Standard Razor...I got one today...

I recently purchased "the Standard Razor" in black. I have had two shaves with it so far. I usually shower shave. This morning I face lathered with Proraso soap with a BK 4. The razor has a two shave HU Personna mounted in it. I did a two pass shave and it was very near BBS. The razor does...

Gillette Slim adjustable (Silver handle)

+1 on what Gordon said. The slim adjustable is one of if not my favorite razor. I have quite a few very good razors, ie. Fat Boy, Slant, EJ86, Aristocrat (non-adjustable), Gillette New, etc. I just keep coming back to the slim. It has a great balance, slimmer head than a Fat Boy, good weight, etc. I...

Thank you all for your information about this mystery. The cards emphatically say "Blades made in England, packed in the US". Not Great Britain or Scotland. If these are English made ASR blades they are truly outstanding. Very, very sharp but not rough at all. Quite smooth feeling and the ...

British made Stainless Super + Chromium from the 70's

I just bought 120 of these blades in Albertson's packaging. The blade itself is marked Super+Chromium. Package back says made in Britain. I thought these might be original Wilkinson Sword British made blades and just had the outer cardboard blister pack re-badged for different client buyers. The bla...

Did not know it was supposed to be Brushless.

I did not know that it is supposed to be brushless. I just put a dab in my hand and with my wet BK4 just started swirling it around in my hand as I usually would. It made a real nice lather. It has a very light lemon scent. It must be the BK4. All my regular shave soaps and creams just explode with ...
