I paid $10 on ebay a year ago. Great value, highly recommended. Now I have a Weishi, Merkur HD, Merkur Slant, Gillette travel razor, Feather Portable, and the Krona. It's my 2nd favorite after the Slant. On the road I might prefer the Feather Portable for a quickie--it's more aggressive--but the Kro...

Some mix in drops of Essential Oils to enhance the scent of their plain witch hazel. I'm using peppermint, rosemary, and lavender, (1.5:2.5:3.5) based on a recipe I ran across elsewhere. Smells great, and I really like it. Peppermint's a bit bracing (in a good way, for me). However, it would be real...

Re: Williams Mug Soap lather?
Hi, for people that use Williams mug shaving soaps, could you post a picture of your lather? I don't think mine is up to par and I want to see if it's perhaps my brush (cheap drugstore one) Here is a link to my topic at B&B about Williams, scroll down to see pics. Remember, this is what my brus...

If you are a Tennessee Whiskey fan, do yourself a favor and try George Dickel. It is unlikely you'll ever drink J D again. +1. JD is SO highly overrated, must be the marketing. George Dickel, Jim Bean Black and esp. Wild Turkey are much, much better. I'd rather not drink bourbon if it had to be JD,...

Hrm, they cook just as fast as instant for me. I just boil some water in the kettle and pour over the oats. They can't take longer than a minute. Perhaps I'm eating them too raw/uncooked....but they taste perfectly fine to me. Regular steel-cut oats take at least 10 minutes in the microwave (spread...

You're not doing so badly, considering. You've got a good razor. You've got decent blades that, while not first-rate, many members here do like and use. And you've got an excellent shaving cream. I could happily use Body Shop cream daily, and I do at least once a week. Finally, you're protected from...

I happened upon a couple of pucks of this English Leather shaving soap at a small grocery in Thailand, of all places, that carries some imported stuff. It's a good soap, smells great (just the right amount of English Leather), lathers well, lasts long. I enjoy using it. I couldn't find out anything ...
