You know it is really sometimes so confusing for me. I can not see and smell the product in real life. I also don't have money to buy and try 10 pucks in one go (thats like $100 or more). It seems like such a waste.

I really have to rely on other people's opinions. Please bare with me.

Buying and using multiple soaps goes against my philosophy of what wetshaving really is about. Rotating soaps doesn't give you enough time to familiarize yourself and bond with your soap. And I really can't afford it too. That is actually the main reason. I am quite neutral about soaps like T&H,...

I have only one shot to buy the right soap... need opinions

My T&H lavender soap is almost finished and yesterday I decided to give a brand new puck of Tabac another chance. And boy let me tell you.. I just can't stand this soap anymore. The scent is so bad! It's not the lather, it's the scent. I had used this soap before for one full year and I am just ...

Has anybody looked at the list of ingredients of creams? Well for me thats the reason to strictly use soaps.

Not to mention that soaps last for ages except for MWF and other soft soaps wich are btw still very good bang for buck products.

I know from experiences that shaving during the shower gives me the best results hands down. But for the sake of staying true to shaving I shave above the sink now. Sometimes after showering sometimes without it. I do make sure I wet my face and massage the lather thoroughly on my face. Thats why I ...

I didnt use proraso exactly for the same reason either! I just dont want to rub that in my face when I look at the list of ingredients.

I did use proraso red one time though.

The best thing to do is to make a compromise. Instead of using your number 1 frangrance or the number 1 fragrance of her... why dont you use something you both like?

I have now tried a few top end soaps...

My mother recently sent me a puck of T&H shaving soap. I can finally let Tabac go now after I have been using it exclusively for more then 1 year. I always hated the scent but it was extremely reliable. I still have another puck. So its there for me when I need it. T&H is a big improvement o...

I just got this soap. It does have a very good scent. Its amazing that I am using something that was designed in the 18th century (the scent). Is this what sandalwood is suppose to be? I got another bath soap similar in scent to the imperial leather and its classified by the producers as a sandalwoo...

MWF is in my opinion really one of the better scents eventhough I classify it as a soapy scent. I would love to have an aftershave splash of this scent. Maybe a bit more sophisticated then the shave soap.

The MWF is my favourite scent so far as far as shaving soaps goes. I just wish it was alot stronger then it is right now. So that I can enjoy it even more during shaving

Not sure how it smells from the tips of a brush as I dont have the soap anymore.

I traded my Arlington soap. I paid a premium price for it so I was expecting a premium scent. But you could get this scent from a cheap $.50 bath soap at a local drugstore. In airplanes they hand out hot towels to wash your hands and face with. They got exactly the same smell as the Arlington. Defin...

Reading the comments have got me worried about my brand new purchase. I am coming from a feather AC RG and I am an exclusive user of feather DE and SE blades. Maybe it will be too mild for me too.

Why are weishi razors not popular around the boards?

I just ordered a gold weishi. Its cheap, new and looks pretty good when i saw it on the pictures. It doesnt cost that much more then a vintage gillette and its much cheaper then a merkur. But when I take a look around the boards I hardly see anyone using this razor. I sometimes check SOTD and I actu...

Shaving 4+ days of growth with a straight razor and a rich creamy lather of MWF is the best shaving experience a men can get. Finish it off with a powerful aftershave splash with burn.

It just doesnt get better then that.

I am going to wait a month with the purchase of a new car. If I compare the price here with those in America then I think its just not fair. I would really get the bare minimum in equipment too and an underpowered engine. I just dont get it. I couldnt negotiate with the dealer either. Honda and Toyo...

Car advice...

I am looking to buy a new car but I have no idea what I am doing. Its actually going to be the first time that I am buying a car. I have checked a few dealers and so far I like the mazda3 alot. I checked with Toyota for a car with similar options and price and I actually found that I am getting much...

I am into wetshaving for almost 2 years. Before that I have used a mach3 for a couple of years and the fusion for a few months. The fusion was arguably the best razor I had ever used with the mach3 being a close 2nd. The shave is so extremely smooth, consistent and irritation free. For years I'd nev...
