It really is quite amazing. Holding a mirror up to society has never been so fruitful.

Recently graduated with a BA in English. I was rejected from all the graduate schools I applied to. I've had one interview in April for a teaching position and didn't get it because the current teacher resigned her contract. I took my civil service exam to work at the public library in March. I scor...

Wow. I had no idea that so many things went under.

Then again, I hadn't even heard of half of those things on that list. That said, it's a damn shame we're losing so much.

Gotta love those wholesale stores. On a secondary note, does bay rum actually make one feel less disgusting in hot and humid weather? I have yet to find anything other than talcum powder to achieve this, and I hear that gives you cancer (especially the ladies). I live in South Louisiana, and it's ho...

I too have been looking into the world of Fountain Pens. I've always been a stationary geek. I love notebooks and things like that. I guess it's because I'm a writer. I have a drawer full of blank notebooks I bought because they spoke to me. It's only lately that I've gotten into the pens too. My gr...

Yeah. I have it. It was a gift, so I feel obligated to keep it around, but I've used it twice with no good results.

When ever I use a splash after shave, I always toss some Nivea Sensitive on top of it. I just helps. It moisturizes the face in a way that splashes just don't.

As suggested above: Old Spice (a personal favorite) Skin Bracer (Original and Blue), Pinaud Clubman.

Also, I love me some Brut. Aqua Velva Musk is nice. English Leather. And even though it's not a splash, give Afta a try.

Glass Bottle Old Spice

I was walking around a little grocery store in a town called Rayne this afternoon with my fiancee. Every time we go somewhere that has shaving stuff, I have to look. So, I do what I always do and head to the shaving supplies. And what do you know? Old Spice in the old packaging. A nice glass bottle....

Saw it last night. My fiancee is the huge trekkie in this relationship. Said she never missed an opening night of a Star Trek movie in her life. We decided to go see it after dinner. Had to go to two restaurants. The first one was a debacle. It was a new place, one we had never gone to before. Let's...
