I think that TOBS also sells Rooneys with their own label. I bought this brush ther a couple of years ago and it looks like a Rooney.Image

I have heard that badgers are used as a meat animal in China, so the hair is a high value by-product rather like leather. I like the face feel of the "3-band" bristle but wouldn't want to give up my "2-band" either. Those sloppy labels are bad though - what are they thinking? Now that the competition is hotting up with Simpson's renwed quality and Rooney's finest, Plisson should be raising the bar. ...
