I have only honed the rolls blades and they seem thicker than the ones on these pictures. I didn't use a handle, just my hand to push the blade across the hone the same way (x-pattern) as regular straights. I also use the exact same tests and visuals as with straight throughout the honing progressio...

Sold: Coates Limes tub

This is sold, probably a mod can move it out of the way It's brand new, unused. When I bought them few months ago they came out to $39 each. Now the exchange rate is more favorable to the USD, but a tube will still cost over $35 to get. I don't think there is any need to preach to the choir how good...

Thanks, Gordon,

Yeah, I agree with you on the new bottles. I also like the other version of older bottles, that are narrower in the middle - somewhat like an hourglass.
Anyways this one is taken.

Sold: Vintage Floris Elite After Shave 100ml/3.5oz

I'm rarely using this one, and these days I'm in favor of having smaller setup, so it is up for sale. It is a vintage bottle of the Floris Elite After Shave (I think the old design is a lot classier). The smell is just as what it should be, compared to a current release - it hasn't changed for eithe...

SOLD: Straight Razor - Filarmonica No.12 (5/8) $135

This Filarmonica was unhoned and unused when I bought it, even though the box was opened. How do I know - the bevel was not set across the whole edge. I've honed it, but it is not yet where a Filarmonica should be, so I'll label it not shave-ready even though some may consider it otherwise. Blade ha...

Source for Emilion?

Hi guys,

A friend of mine is looking for Emilion and since Jim@vintageblades seems to be out of stock (I'll make a call tomorrow to check on it) I was wondering whether you're aware of alternative source

cheers,
Ivan

Niksa, Do yourself a favor and don't purchase from iTunes. Esp. classics like Kind of Blue. It's definitely worth buying the full CDs (even if you don't have a good audio system you probably have or should seriously consider a good set of headphones). I've found that the 128kbps bitrate from iTunes ...

Ok Ivo, I'll save you and post to increase the response count to 2... I didn't care for the cooling of menthol either, and thought the scent is 'interesting', but not even close to mindblowing, but in subsequent uses I've grown to like the scent more and notice the cooling less, so I'm sortof acquir...

Ken, I agree with EL about the opening bid - I'd set it at 99c, as these razors are quite nice and will sell for whatever it's worth. Make sure you take a picture of the reverse as well. If you expect to get 200, you probably won't. I have my guess of what it'll sell for, but I don't think it's appr...
