Witch Hazel does almost everything. I use it as an aftershave. It is also great for mosquito bites, cuts, and scrapes. It even works good on hemorrhoids. I splash it on my face when I do not feel like washing. I also keep some in a spray bottle. I hope you splash it on your face first. #-o Cliff
