I prefer the scuttle, that way you get a creamy WARM lather that just feels great. However, I have to be honest and say that most (say 85%) of the time I lather in the palm of my hand. Maybe on the weekend, when I'm less lazy, I'll use the scuttle. Now I have nothing to prove that one way is better ...

For those of you that use and love or hate CF, how do you load your brush? I have mine done professionally. Seriously though, it depends on how lazy I am. My 'preferred' method would be to heat up my Moss scuttle, place a dollop of CF cream in the bowl and start creating lather that way. In my lazy...

Cliff, You've long extolled the virtues of the Castle Forbes creams. I remember buying my first pot of Limes because of your endorsement. It's good to see you back on the forum. Dammit I've missed you! Ren Thanks Ren, I've missed this place too, although I have checked in from time to time. I...

I think this razor would have had hearts aflutter a year or two ago, but the cut down featherjector trick has waned in use and the Cobra doesn't seem to be getting the fuss it deserves. It was sold out when I last looked on Classic, so it must be selling okay. It's a great razor, nicely designed an...

Ever dance with a COBRA ?
In reading over past posts I came across some info on the Cobra Classic injector. An injector shaped razor sold by Classic Shaving that uses a full disposable Feather straight razor blade. Long story short, I decided to get one and give it a try. Figured I’d blame you genius’s that wrote about it if...

To help keep within your budget. don't be so quick to throw away the disposable razors. Do some reading, there are many shave forums and most have good info. Get a decent badger brush; for inexpensive starters I can recommend Sue at St. Charles Shave, she has an inexpensive starter brush. http://www...

Quite a while ago, I purchased one of the first tubs in the US. As I'm a BIG fan of the CF Lime and Lavendar, along with Andrew taking forever to get this to market, I expected wonderous things. I was greatly dissapointed, the scent smelled like, well never mind...I won't say what it smelled like. I...
