Is rhodium a lot more wear resistant than nickel?

I have an old Gillette 4 piece British flat bottom travel tech and want to get it replated. Where do you guys suggest I get it done and should I get it done in rhodium or nickel? Thanks!

I guess the main question at this point is the brush, then. Personally some antibacterial soap and hot water seems fine to me.

Any advice on this? I'm wondering how to sanitize a used brush and brass razor, if i even need to. Thanks for any advice!

I don't have one but have always been curious. It seems like you wouldnt be able to get as close, and i can see no good reason why some razors have them, but I am sure im missing something as a great many razors have them.

I really want to try it, but don't know exactly how much I would be spending vs. the relatively cheap (for me, anyway) double edged razor/blades, or how long it'll take to get used to it, or even if the shave will differ, or what I'll need!
