I'm also a fan of Santal Noble, but Diptyque's Tam Dao is easily my favourite sandalwood fragrance. Dry as a box of pencil shavings, and very good staying power.

You do have a point there Squire. Besides, I doubt I'll be able to resist the siren song of that brush once it is in my hand.

Mine is on its way across the pond. Not sure if I want to use it or preserve it for posterity. I'm not exactly a monarchist, but it is a pretty brush.

Reminds me of my trip to Japan. Flying to Osaka from Vancouver, we were southbound, at altitude. I look out the window and lo! Mt. Fuji peering out from the clouds. What a view!

I, too, would like an idea of the pricing. What would be the cost for a Colonel with the shorter Manchurian hair?

Chris,

Could I trouble you to elaborate on these wooden bowls? Should I be visiting the Bay this weekend?

Mark, It is indeed unfortunate how things turned ugly over there. As a result, I will no longer spend any time whatsoever perusing that forum. Which leads me to ask: how do you plan on rolling out the GYLE? I did send you an email expressing interest about a month ago, does that put me on some sort ...
