I ask because the one I just got looked like it had been used maybe once before I got it (I did find some stubble) but otherwise it is practically new. I just am curious if I should even be worry...

Maybe there is hope for me yet. I never did like my Mach3 (only used it a few months) and went back to my Gillette Sensor which was my mainstay until now.

I was looking today closely at my HD after putting in a fresh blade and I notice that one side the blade sticks out a few more mm than the other side. I assume that means one side of my HD is more "aggressive" than the other, right? Is that a normal thing? shouldn't both sides be symmetric...

don't most soap producers sell refill pucks? you could get one of those and just put it in whatever you'd like... most seem to be a pretty standard size/shape from what I have seen in my limited shopping

ok, I have been shaving with my Merkur HD now for a month or more, and I can't master the neck. I would like to try a "milder" razor and cannot decide between a super speed or a tech.

Techs are available like crazy on eBay but super speeds seem to demand a bit more of a premium. Any ideas?
