WAY TO GO, DIGGLER!!! Wetshaving is such an individual thing. Everything from what works or feels good on your face to how we make lather. You have an open mind and you experiment. That's the way to get maximum enjoyment from this. With your using bottled water. Try using tap water with the Proraso ...

Tom: Soaking Col. Conk soap is absolutely unnecessary and is not helping you. It is already soft and easy to get on the brush, and soaking it just wastes a lot of soap for no reason. The rest of the advice sounds great. Thanks, I'll give it a try. I'm in the habit of doing this with all my soaps fr...

Darn it... I meant to point out the lip that is on the scuttle. You can see it in the colorful scuttles and my CAT scuttle.
It's just enough to prevent overflow. You hardly notice it. Beauty is subtle at times.

Mine is well hidden, I'm told

What is meant by "band" of the brush 2 band three

I thought the band referred to the band of the handle.
Lately I'm thinking it has to do with the bands on the bristles.
Which is it.
Particularly hear about two band and three band Simpson.
Thanks..
SEE there is NO question that is too stupid....I've had this Q for quite some time
Hahahaha
