Tackiest? How about the fact they are trying to sell you batteries? Its not enough to sell you one of their products, they want to sell you two.

I believe they have free shipping on orders over $50. I ordered (3) and got free shipping. And yes, from their picture on their web site it felt like I was taking a chance, but it was well worth it.

Slim Twist (Gillette) or Krona (Schick). Both are mild shavers and generally inexpensive.

Mailing a razor?

Looking for suggestions on how to package a razor for mailing. I would like to send a razor in the mail, would prefer to keep the mailing cost down, but want to insure that it arrives in tact. Any suggestions?

A suggestion; buy used razors in not necessarily good cosmetic condition (usually very cheap) try different models, sell the ones you don't care for (probably get your money back), when you find a style preference look for one in great condition.

Critique my lather

Opinion on polishing

I bought several old razors that had been neglected. After cleaning them up several appear to have cleaned up really well, but, due to the state of previous neglect, had some plating loss, discoloration spots, corrosion, or pitting. After cleaning I took a few and tried polishing them up. Im my opin...

Neighbor's last batch of homebrew wasn't too bad. Less lighterfluidy than the last time I tried it.

Reel mowers can cut very close. They are used on grasses typically used on golf greens. They can make a cleaner cut, making less damage to the plants, reducing the risk of turf disease.

Soap scented soaps?

Are there soaps that just smell like soap? I don't know that I need it to smell like anything else.
