Re: Few questions

3. Pre-shave... I shave AFTER a shower always but still find my hairs aren't soft at all and this could also be a cause of my bad shaves, I've tried rubbing Proraso on whilst in the shower as well but this doesn't seem to make any difference as well.. The weird thing is I am only a teenager and don...

What brand of soap did you get? It's just the companys own brand, I bought the razor and a brush and bowl fro...

Here is the detailed explanation of how to face lather well: 0. Wet your face, dripping wet, with warm water. 1. Wet your brush with warm water. 2. Shake most of the water out of the brush (but not all). 3. Rub the tips of the bristles on the soap, about 5 or 10 times. More strokes on the soap if n...

Personally, I'd stay away from both of them and maybe try a Sensor or a Mach 3. The fewer the blades the better. I don't think I'll ever go back to multi blade cartridges after going to DE razors. Yeah I have been meaning to get a mach 3 but just confused as there seem to be so many different versi...

Well I shave with my Quattro today, and got a fairly close shave in most places (ATG everywhere) in one stroke but still had several cuts and it just doesn't feel comfortable, it feels like the razor is tugging the skin and is almost painful when cutting the hairs. I have a feeling it is due to poo...

In short, using a Quattro :D If you feel more comfortable using a cartidge, in my humble opinon, I'd opt for the two blade base Sensor. I think you'll find less drag...the head is smaller, and none of that wire guard stuff... Otherwise, I'd pick up some of the Bic Originals (all white)...if I didn'...

Anybody? :) With a cartridge razor, on my face, one pass against the grain is enough to do a good job. Have you tried that? (With a double-edge, you never go against the grain right away; but in my experience, cartridges play by very different rules.) L'Oreal gel - I have no experience with it. Qua...

I focus on my neck, which is my problem area. But I think you'll find, if you spread your fingers, it'll cover most of your shaving area.

All the best,

Jack
Thanks, so do your hairs feel different after? Or just feel the same to you..

Hey guys,

For those of you who use a face cloth.. how do you go about it as I have normal sized face cloths but it is impossible to cover neck AND face.. I can only do one or the other..

Thanks

Sorry when I say "fine" i meant it was fairly close (not perfect anywhere though, and still bad on certain areas on neck and around chin, but reasonable in my experiences). Where would you suggest I go from now? OK, let's go back to the beginning. 1. What shaving items are you using now? ...

Where would you suggest I go from now? Obviously I want a smooth shave but with no cuts and nicks as well.. :)

No Sam, I'm saying do it differently. Take a disposable razor and shave with the grain only. Then do it again. I don't use any prep other than shower. Squire Tried this today, WTG gave me a very bad shave, not close at all, ATG was fine, but stills same problem areas on neck.. and did get plenty of...
